Guest House

Come stay at the Guest House at Bloom & Brook Estates. Located in a private and peaceful country setting, this guest house will help you unplug from the bustle of the city while still being close enough to all of the activities and amenities that Whatcom County (or lower British Columbia) have to offer.

FACILITIES:

The guest house boasts nearly 850 square feet of living space with 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. As you enter through the gate and walk the path, you are greeted by a private and fenced yard and patio area with a fire pit and patio table. This is a great area to relax and hang out.

Upon entering the residence, an open kitchen and living area greets you with a full kitchen and a table to seat 4. The living room has a smart TV and DVD player (no cable/satellite), a comfy sofa and living room chairs to lounge in. The electric fireplace provides ambiance, and if needed, heat for the living area. You will find a twin daybed with a twin pullout bed in the living area as well.

Entering through the living area, you will find the main bedroom with a king size bed, another smart tv, a comfy chair, a small electric fireplace/space heater, and access to both the bathroom and the laundry facilities. It is a very comfortable and cozy space.

LOCATION:

Quaint, downtown Lynden, WA is less than 10 minutes away for easy shopping or a visit to the 100+ year old Lynden Dutch Bakery. Excellent restaurants are close by, and there are a number of local and State parks to explore. You could easily find yourself at Mount Baker in the morning and out on the bay in the afternoon with a stop for an incredible lunch in between. You could also hop right across the border to explore Vancouver, White Rock, and the rest of the lower mainland of BC. The location is unbeatable for exploring this incredible area.

Bloom & Brook Estates is a family run hobby farm on 5 acres, set on what was an original homestead of 160 acres granted to the Weidkamp family by the US government in 1897. We are currently renovating the original farm house to bring it back to its glory days. We are also continuing to update and work on the rest of the property. The guest house sits next to our main residence, but boasts it’s own private, fenced yard and entrance with reserved parking. We would be happy to meet you and share about the area, or if you prefer, allow you a contactless check in/out and private stay.
